01 /The Challenge

Small neighborhood retail stores in the Philippines traditionally rely on paper notebooks and mental math, leading to unrecorded customer credit ("utang"), unnoticed stockouts, and untracked profits.

02 /My Role & Contribution

Sole developer responsible for end-to-end mobile architecture: offline-first checkout UI, barcode/QR scanner integration, multi-branch store ledger sync, and CSV business reporting.

03 /Architectural Decisions

Leveraged SQLite with Prisma for zero-latency local queries and minimal server overhead; engineered a lightweight responsive interface designed specifically for budget Android hardware on local store Wi-Fi.

04 /Verifiable Outcome

Shipped an installable mobile POS used daily at checkout counters, cutting transaction recording times and eliminating lost credit records.
